Defining Logging settings

  1. From the menu, select Setup > Settings > Logging.
  2. On Client Level, select an option from the list:
    Client level Level of details in the log
    1 Flow and Errors
    2 Memory used
    3 Time used
    4 DB Access
    5 Forecast Calculation
    6 DB records
    14 Attributes
    30 Trace in CUBERW
    31 CTH
    32 CTH Detail
    40 Expand data manager
    64 Workflow actions
    99 All except memory in view cube and DB library
    100 All except memory
    255 All
    The selected client logs are saved. The DmpClient.log displays only the selected logs in settings.
  3. On Proxy Level, select an option from the list:
    Proxy Level Description
    0 None
    1 Error only
    3 Warning and Error
    7 Trace, Warning, and Error
    15 Coverage only
    31 Info only
    255 All

    The selected proxy logs are saved. The DmpProxy.log displays only the selected logs in settings

    Note: The proxy file is created in the same folder as the client log file with the name DmpProxy.log.
  4. On Server Level, select an option from the list:
    Server Level Description
    0 None
    1 Error only
    3 Warning and Error
    7 Trace, Warning, and Error
    15 Coverage only
    31 Info only
    255 All

    The selected server logs are saved. The DmpServer.log displays only the selected logs in settings.

    Note: The Server Level option only appears if you have a user management rights or permission set up.
  5. On Log File, specify the location of the directory.
  6. On Scripts, specify the location of the script file.
  7. On Data Path, specify the location of the data file.
  8. Click Special settings to enable other features.
  9. Click OK to close the dialog box or select another tab to continue.
