About Time Marks

The time marks functionality enables the administrator to define the time range where you can change the data.

You can create two types of time marks:

  • Public time marks are visible to all the users.
  • Private time marks are visible only to the user who created the time mark.

On server and central versions, both public and private options are available. On package and local versions, the public option is disabled.

If a time horizon based on a time mark (relative) is changed from private to public, the associated time mark is also changed to public. A change of a time markĀ from public to private is rejected if:

  • Public time horizon is using the time mark
  • Time horizon owned by another user is using the time mark
