Changing the data using Advanced Calculations
- On the Workbench, select the cells that requires an update.
- Click Advanced Calculations .

On the Target Range, select the cells that must be included.
The selected cells are displayed in blue color.
- From the right-click menu, select Calculate Cell(s).

On the Source Range, select the cells that must be included.
The selected cells are displayed in green color.
- From the right-click menu, select Calculate Cells(s).

If it is the first time you are making changes to the view, the
Definition of Scenario/Scenario Part dialog box is displayed,
else the Advanced Calculation dialog box is displayed
directly.

Field Description Calculation actions Plus, minus, percent, range, and constant Target Operation Select whether you want to include or exclude the target range as part of your calculation Distribution By Values if the keys in the target range and source range are non-identical. By Matching Cells if all keys in target range and source range are identical. Scenario Read-only field that lists the Scenario name Scenario Part/Sales Activity Opens the Definition of Scenario/Scenario Part/Sales Activity dialog box Manual Forecast Select this option to perform Manual Forecast on a selection of cells. Column The default is established by the marked cell but you can select from the list of available columns for the selected period Break Datatype Link Select this option to prevent cyclic calculations -
Click OK.
The Grid is displayed highlighting the changed cells with blue background at the aggregate level and with a green background at the detailed level.Click Undo or Redo to change the results.Note: You can specify the Grid view either from the Favorite Views or through Datasets menu. The changes made in the active scenario part are saved when you close the Grid. The changes made at the aggregate level are distributed proportionally to existing cell values in the underlying cells.
