Defining General M3 Interface Settings

  1. From the menu, select Setup > Settings > Data.
  2. Select Activate Import/Export then specify this information:
    Import
    Select Import from local database.
    Export
    Select Export to local database.
  3. Click M3 Interface.
  4. Select the General tab.
  5. Specify this information:
    Default Company
    Specify the company code from M3 BE.
    Use M3 BE Timestamp
    Select this check box to use the M3 BE Timestamp. It is recommended that you select this check box to show the timestamp in the log file.
    Logging
    Select the options that are applicable to the log file.
    Conversion
    Specify a value in Triviality limit for 0.0 on M3 BE for exporting manual forecasts to M3 BE. You must specify a value that is greater than zero.
    Options
    By default, Import Promotions, Export Promotions, and Activate M3 Trigger are selected. You can clear the options that are not applicable.
    M3 Version
    Select the applicable version from the list.
  6. Click OK to close the dialog box or select another tab to continue.
