Promotion tracking
Promotion tracking in Demand Planner enables the user to assess the effectiveness of the promotions that are used to increase the sales. This feature includes data such as items, customers, sales, and warehouse.
Promotion tracking includes integration to M3 promotions through OIS840MI and integration to M3 datasets through OIS401 for sales or order statistics, forecast, and budget data. Promotions are defined in a dataset and can be imported or exported in M3 BE as part of Demand Planner workflow. The user can also modify, update, and assign the promotions to a dataset to enable tracking of promotional effect with other forecast, budget, sales, or purchase data.

Promotion list
A promotion list is the master list of all promotions in Demand Planner. It includes details such as promotion headers, promotion lines, customers, and warehouse.
You can use the promotion list without assigning a promotion to a dataset. The top grid in a promotion list shows the promotions headers, and the promotion lines are displayed in the bottom grid.
