Configure Total Forecasting

To configure M3 DMP for Total Forecasting do the following:

Log on to the server.
From Version Control select the server version you want to configure for Total Forecasting and click the Version Properties button.
The Version Properties dialog opens.
From the Settings tab under the Forecast Setting heading select Calculated Base Forecast and close the dialog.
Select Setup > Settings.
The Settings dialog opens.
From the Admin. tab check Default use Calculated Base Forecast, if you want new versions to use calculated base forecast.
Select Setup > Shared Settings.
The Shared Settings dialog opens.
Select Forecast Method.
The Forecast Method dialog opens.
Select Total Forecasting and click the OK button and Close the Shared Settings dialog.
From Version Control select Import.
The Import wizard opens.
Follow the steps described in the Import help topic.
Pay attention to the section on how to select accumulators by clicking the Change Accumulators to Import button and how the accumulators MFMADJ and MFCFOR are mandatory. You can now create your favorite views.
