Saving configurations from an existing environment

Follow these steps to save a configuration in the current environment.

  1. Log in to M3 DMP.
  2. Select the version to save.
  3. From the menu, select Version > Manage > Save Version.
  4. On Version Properties, specify this information:
    Name
    Select a configuration from the list.
    Description
    A description is displayed depending on the selected configuration.
    Account
    Specify an the account description.
    Company
    Specify a company name.
    Comments
    Optionally, specify a comment.
  5. On Filter Options, specify this information:
    Key records to save
    Specify 0.
    Datasets
    Select All.
    Key Name
    Leave this blank.
    Exclude Attributes
    Select the check box.
  6. On Folder/File Name, specify a valid folder and the desired file name. For AppStream, select Temporary Files.
  7. Click Save Version.
    The progress bar displays if saving the version is complete.
  8. To move another version, go back to step two.
