Adding promotion cannibalization

  1. Select Menu > List > Promotion.
  2. Select or highlight a promotion line.
  3. Right click and choose Properties.
    Alternatively, from the menu at the bottom, click Promotion Line Properties.
  4. Go to the DMP tab.
  5. Specify this information:
    Cannibalization
    Select to enable promotion cannibalization. The Cannibalization ration and Related item options are enabled.
    Cannibalization percentage
    Specify the percentage on which the amount is to be subtracted.
    Cannibalization ratio
    Specify the number of times the percentage is multiplied with.
    Related item
    Select from the drop down list other promotion lines to be cannibalized.
  6. In the Settings pane, specify this information:
    Not Exported
    Select this option if the promotion line is not to be included in the Export to M3 action.
  7. Click OK.
