Linking attribute to dataset

You must link an attribute to a dataset used in M3 DMP. You can only select one of the attributes for each M3 DMP key as a key description, and it is concatenated to the key value. The rest is displayed as extra-dimensional columns.

  1. From the menu, select Data > Attributes Setup > Attributes Dataset Links.
  2. In the Dataset list, select a dataset.
    The M3 DMP key and attribute for the selected dataset is displayed in the respective columns in the Attributes table.
  3. In the Attributes table, select Use against a M3 DMP key and attribute. You can only use the attribute in the pivot sheet when you select Use.
  4. In the Attributes table, select Description against a M3 DMP key and attribute. The attribute description is only displayed in the pivot sheet when you select Description.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
