Create New Phantom

  1. To add a new Phantom, select Datasets > Phantoms.
    The Phantom Manager is displayed in the Workbench.
  2. Click Add to create a new phantom with the existing and new/changed key values.
    The new phantom is listed above the original phantom. The new phantom is marked with status "New".
  3. The Data Types for the new phantom can be copied if From / To Time Horizon and Data Types are selected for copy.
    If the user creates multiple new records, then the Data column check box can be used to skip data copy for some of the records.
  4. Click OK to deploy the Phantom.
  5. To verify the phantom(s) you created, select Datasets > Phantoms.

    The Phantoms dialog box is displayed with the new phantom(s) listed and assigned with status "Valid".

    Note: 
    • A "blank" budget can be used if the Dataset contains a "blank" budget and Total Forecasting is applied. When a new phantom is created, AUMs are automatically deployed to the new cells.
    • You must be logged on as an administrator to complete this task.
