Example of exporting a file

The export file and import features of M3 Demand Planner supports different types of integration. These features can also be used for offline reporting.

This example shows the format that you can use to horizontally export a CSV file:

You can edit a CSV file format using Microsoft Excel, Notepad, or any text editor application.

In this example, the CSV files are created after you click the Export button in the Export File dialog box:

  • Calculated forecast in dollars
  • Total forecast in dollars
  • Last year's sales

You can set the parameters for horizontal export in the Export File dialog box.
