Close Version

When a forecaster has updated a forecast, the database must be closed for the consolidation and export of updates to M3 BE.

Select Version Control, select a version and click Actions.
The Actions drop-down list is displayed.

Select Close Version

The Close Version dialog is displayed.

Check Users	It is mandatory to check this option. Always check if there are any users connected to the database. If so, the administrator is informed and can select a forced disconnection of the forecaster or abandon the Close Version activity and contact the forecaster.
Set Close Date	It is mandatory to check this option. Checking this option ensures that the database is registered as Closed and the date of closing is also saved.

Select the Close button to finish the transaction.

Note: As long as the database is closed, forecasters will not have access to the data in the database.
