Favorite View Data

The Favorite View Data is designed to use Favorite Views as the starting point for creating or copying data.

• This functionality is limited Favorite View Data works within one version of M3 DMP, unlike Dataset Data Manager.
• Favorite View Data can copy between two Pivot sheets (Grids).
• Favorite View Data can copy from the first period included in the From Favorite View to the first period in the To Favorite View.

  This means if the 2 Favorite Views have different start periods, it gives the opportunity to move data in time.

To run, you must set up these items:

• Configuration

  A drop-down list that consists of saved configurations or setup which you can select. An ellipsis button is available next to the Configuration name which allows you to edit, delete, or copy the configuration.

• Actions
• Options

  Set change mark check box is selected by default. It marks To Favorite View measure cells as updated to allow it to be exported later in the process. If To Favorite View measure is not exported, you can leave the option off.

• From / To Favorite View

  This drop-down list consists of Favorite View items and their measure. An ellipsis button is available next to the Favorite view drop-down list to open a new screen of the view for inspection.

• Distribution

  You can configure this field for Keys and Periods, when From View is aggregated or has fewer keys than To View.

  • Key Distribution - You can use this option to break down values from the matched level (text in green in info.. button the detailed key in the To View. Values can be Proportional, Even, Same, and By Measure.
  • Periods Distribution - This option defines how the copy is distributed in periods. This table displayed the available options:

    Direct	Select this option to copy the first period value in From View to first period of To View and the same for the remaining periods.
    By Source Measure or By Destination Measure	Select these options to copy and distribute values in the same relation as the selected source or destination measure.
    Redistributed by Source measure	This is a special function. When selected, the From View value is not copied but instead, the value in the To View is redistributed using the weight of the source measure.

In addition, the Info button display keys are matched with Green color and other information.
