Insights

This insight reports feature allows a high-level overview and provides more graphics with insights into the data.

To configure Insights, open the configuration screen from Menu > Data > Insights.

A configured insight report is contained in each line in the list. The list have these columns:

Column Description
Id This contains the identifier number.
Name This contains the name given for the insight report.
Type This contains the type of insight report.
Dataset This contains the dataset it applies to.
Description This contains the description for the specific insight configuration. This is optional.

You can use these action buttons to configure the insight reports:

Edit Select to edit or inspect the selected insight. This opens the property screen.
New Select to create a new insight. This opens property screen
Copy Select to copy the selected insight. This opens property screen
Delete Select to delete the selected insight.
Test Select to open the insight report.

Using Insights

Each Insights type have different features, capabilities, and usages.

Generally, Insights can be created and maintained from Menu > Data > Insights and can be launched from workflows or through a shortcut starting from a workflow.

Insight types can have interactive features, such as selecting relevant data and drill to favorite views.

Using Insights from Workflows

Insights has been added to Workflows. When selected, the Parameter can be selected as Insight from the drop-down.

Click the ellipsis icon to browse, the Insights window will be displayed.

Some insight types can make use of a global filter, if set. The global filter [No Filter] removes the global filter again.
