Export Forecast Plans to M3 BE

When a consolidated Sales Forecast Proposal is ready in M3 DMP, each M3 DMP Dataset is exported to the corresponding Dataset in M3 BE. Only changed records in the Sales Budgets/Sales Forecasts are exported and updated in the original Datasets on M3 BE.  

You must export the updated Sales Budgets/Sales Forecasts to the M3 BE Dataset for subsequent processing.

1. Open M3 Demand Planner and login as an Administrator.
2. Open the Changes list and confirm changes.

   Select List > Changes. A list of all changes is displayed. Select all changes and click Confirm Scenario Part. A message is displayed to confirm the changes. Click OK to change the Status icon to Confirmed. All selected changes are applied to the existing forecast in the database. You can export to M3 BE. See View Changes.

3. Export to M3 BE or local DB.

   Select Actions > Export. You are prompted to specify the M3 BE username and password. Upon validation on M3 BE, a dialog box is displayed where you can specify what to export to M3 BE. Click Export. See Exporting Dataset to M3.

4. Click Exit.
