Integrating to M3 Cloud

You can configure M3 Demand Planner to enable the open authentication feature that enables you to create, import, and export a dataset to and from M3 Business Engine Cloud by using REST API.

You must set up the method for importing and exporting a dataset on the Settings tab of DMP. To set the open authentication feature in the REST API method for integration to Cloud:

  1. From the main page, select Menu > Setup > Settings.
  2. On Data, select Activate Import / Export.
  3. On the Import and Export sections, select the option for M3 BE REST.
  4. Click M3 Interface.
  5. On Rest, specify the URL of the MI rest service in the Uri field.
  6. On the Authentication section, select an option and specify these information:
    1. If you selected the Basic option, specify your user name and password.
    2. If you selected the Certificate option, specify this information:
      Certificate File
      Specify the certificate file for authentication by clicking the Browse button.
      Password
      Specify the password for the certificate file.
  7. On the Options section, select the applicable M3 data activation option.
  8. Click OK twice to close the Settings dialog box.
Note: The information that you set for the REST API is saved for every version in DMP to enable the integration in different environments.
