Link Attribute To Dataset

An Attribute  must be linked to a Dataset to be used in M3 DMP. Only one of the attributes for each M3 DMP Key can be selected as a key description and will be concatenated to the key value. The rest will be  displayed as extra  dimension columns.

  1. Select Menu > Data > Attributes Setup > Attributes Dataset Links.
    The Attributes Dataset Links dialog is displayed.
  2. Select a Dataset name form the Dataset drop-down list.
    The M3 DMP key and attributes for that Dataset is displayed in the respective columns in the Attributes table.
  3. Check Use against a M3 DMP Key and Attribute in the Attributes table. Only when you select Use, the attribute can be used in the pivot sheet.
  4. Check Description against a M3 DMP Key and Attribute in the Attributes table. Only when you select Description, the attribute description will be displayed in the pivot sheet.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
