Create Phantoms Structure

These are the steps to create a new structure from a pivot sheet:

  1. Select the group level or individual records. Right-click and select Create Phantoms Structure or click on the Phantom button.
    The Select budgets dialog box is displayed.
  2. In Select budgets, you can select zero or any number of budgets that exists in the Dataset, then click OK.
    The Phantom manager dialog box is displayed.
  3. Click the Group button and specify the name of the new Group. For example, C03.
  4. Click Update.
    When specifying a new Group, the status changes to "New" and the Data column shows the available data that will be copied if the desired data types are selected.
  5. Select Data From Time Horizon as the Dataset range and select the data types Demand to be copied.
    It is recommended to copy the current forecast CFOR MADJ and MFOR.
  6. Click OK.
    The phantoms will be created and data is copied. The Dataset can now be inspected through any favorite view and the Phantoms are available with demand data from the original group.
