Defining Logging settings

  1. Select Menu > Setup > Settings.
    The Settings dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the Logging tab.
  3. On Log Level, specify this information:
    Log level Level of details in the log
    1 Log Flow and Errors
    2 Log memory used
    3 Log time used
    4 Log DB Access
    5 Log Forecast Calculation
    6 Log DB records
    14 Log Attributes
    30 Log trace in CUBERW
    31 Log CTH
    32 Log CTH Detail
    40 Log Expand data manager
    64 Log the Workflow actions
    99 Log except memory in view cube and DB library
    100 Log all except memory
    128
    255 Log all
  4. On Proxy Level, specify this information:
    Proxy Level Description
    0 None. No logging
    1 Includes Error only
    3 Includes Warning and Error
    7 Includes Trace, Warning, and Error
    15 Includes Coverage only
    31 Includes Info only
    255 Log all messages including Warnings, Errors, Info, and Debug messages
    Note: The Proxy file is created in the same folder as the Client Log file with the name DmpProxy.log.
  5. On Server Level, specify this information:
    Server Level Description
    0 None. No logging
    1 Includes Error only
    3 Includes Warning and Error
    7 Includes Trace, Warning, and Error
    15 Includes Coverage only
    31 Includes Info only
    255 Log all messages including Warnings, Errors, Info, and Debug messages
    Note: The Server Level option will only appear if you have a user management rights (permission) set up.
  6. To locate the Log File, browse for the directory.
  7. Click Special settings.
  8. Click OK to close the dialog box or select another tab to continue.
