Copying a Favorite View data

To copy a Favorite View data, select Menu > Data > Favorite View Data, and set Action to Copy. Copying a Favorite View data copies data from an existing budget/data type (measure) from one Favorite View to an existing budget/data type (measure) in another Favorite View. The source Favorite View controls which Favorite Views can be selected as destination Favorite Views.

When copying a Favorite View data, the following scenarios can occur:

• All Keys in common – The copy is performed directly.
• Source contains more Keys – The source Favorite View will automatically be aggregated to the common key level before the copy.
• Destination contains more Keys – Common level data will automatically be distributed to the destination level. Three different distribution methods are available.

The copy function only copies data to matching Keys. No Keys will be created.
