Integration to M3 Cloud Edition
M3 Demand Planner can be configured to enable the Open Authentication feature that enables the user to create, import and export a dataset to and from M3 Business Engine Cloud Edition by using REST API.
You must set up the method for importing and exporting a dataset on the Settings tab of Demand Planner. To set the open authentication feature in the REST API method for integration to Cloud:
- From the main page, select .
- In the Data tab, select .
- For the Import and Export sections, select the option for M3 BE REST.
- Click the button.
- In the Rest tab, specify the URL of the MI rest service in the Uri field.
- Select an option in the
Authentication section, and specify these information:
- If you selected the Basic option, specify the user name and password for your account.
- If you selected the
Certificate option, specify this information:
- Certificate File
- Specify the certificate file for authentication by clicking the Browse button.
- Password
- Specify the password for the certificate file.
- In the Options section, select the applicable M3 data activation options.
- Click .
- Click again to close the Settings window.
Note: The information that you set for REST API is saved for every version
in Demand Planner to enable the integration to different environments.
