Certificate and BOM line matching
This table shows the match levels that are used to match BOM lines to certificates:
| Match level | Matching criteria | Additional condition |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Direct match between BOM Item, certificate Product, and Supplier/Partner Name | Certificate must be currently valid |
| Level 2 | Match between BOM Category or Category Group, certificate Product Group, and Supplier/Partner Name | Certificate must be currently valid |
| Level 3 | Match between BOM Main Category, certificate Product Class, and Supplier/Partner Name | Certificate must be currently valid |
| Level 4 | Match by Compositional Information and Supplier/Partner Name | Certificate must be currently valid |
Note: If multiple certificates match, the certificate with the lowest match level to the BOM line and the most recent validity date is applied. If no valid certificate exists, the BOM line is flagged for review.
