Available to Spend

Use this widget to know the credit limit information of a particular customer.
Note: Available to spend depends on the Customer Contacts widget if used as a homepage or workspace widget, or on M3 if used as a context widget. Ensure that the Customer Contacts widget has been added along with the Available to Spend widget from the widget catalog on Homepage or Workspace.
Using the widget can give you these statuses:
  • Exceeded: The amount spent is greater than the credit limit.
  • Good: The amount spent is lower than the threshold limit.
  • Cautious: The amount spent is greater than the threshold limit but is less than the credit limit.

    The threshold limit is set to 80% by default but you can modify it when necessary.

APIs used in the widget

The Available to Spend widget requires application program interface (API) to retrieve data from M3 and vice versa.

Infor Business Context (IBC) messages

This widget retrieves data upon receiving these IBC messages either from Customer Contacts widget or from M3:

  • InforCustomerPartyMaster
  • InforBilltoPartyMaster

From M3: When an M3 program publishes the above IBC messages, this widget receives the messages and retrieves the respective M3 APIs which return and display the appropriate data of a specific customer or payer.

From Workspace: When the Customer Contacts widget publishes the above IBC messages, this widget receives the messages and retrieves the respective M3 APIs which return and display the appropriate data of a specific customer or payer.
Note: Workspace is only available in Infor OS Portal.
