Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)

AD FS is a software component that is developed by Microsoft Corporation. AD FS can be installed on Windows Server operating systems to provide users with single sign-on access to systems and applications that are located across organizational boundaries.

AD FS is used by Infor Cloud solutions for authentication and single sign-on as part of the standard deployment. For authentication to a corporate directory, AD FS Trust to an on-premise AD FS is the preferred solution. Support for additional or alternative authentication mechanisms requires a technical discussion with the Infor Cloud team and may incur additional cost for setup.
