Specifications can be uniquely defined for entities like Customer, Supplier, Facility etc to support varying needs from different markets. The specifications can be managed on a grouped item level and can also be inherited from a selected material when used in the manufacturing process. Your requests for inspection can be triggered by many events in the supply chain like receiving manufacturing or purchased items into stock, planned re-test in stock, customer returning goods and more. A request can also be triggered at the time of releasing a manufacturing order to collect process inspection results against the request.
