Where am I working
Use this widget to check in at the current location where you are working. The checked in location is updated in the user profile in 'User. Open' (MNS150). The updated location is simultaneously reflected in the M3 Environment widget.
Note: You must activate the CMNULO, CFACIL, CMNCMP, CMNDIV, MITWHL, and
OCASHD tables in the M3 Function Search administration before using the widget. To update
table indexes, see Infor M3 CE Core Administration Guide.
Additionally, you can perform these tasks using the widget:
- Review the current details of the work site where you are checked in.
- View the predefined list of locations that are available to you.
- Search for a location using a unique keyword.
- Switch to a new location where you are authorized to check in.
Note: You must close all open M3 programs first before you check in
or switch to another location.
Using the Where am I working widget
Follow these steps to check in to a particular work site for the first time when necessary.
- On the Where am I working widget, click .
- Scroll through the available locations or search for the location where you want to
check in.
You can filter the number of records to be displayed on the grid by selecting the number of records per page.
- On the corresponding location grid, click the Check In link.
APIs used in the widget
The Where am I working widget requires application program interface (API) to retrieve data from M3 and vice versa.
