Assisted Text Authoring

Use this widget to define informative text for an item or product with the assistance of Infor Generative AI and retrieve the related original item text based on your selected item.

You can perform these tasks on the widget:
  • Click Generate to enable these actions:
    • View the new item description and text to store as text block.
    • Translate the item description and text by selecting the Language option.
    • Click Regenerate to get a new version of the item text using Gen AI.
    • Update the generated item description and text manually.
  • Configure the widget by switching the Save in all language option where the new item descriptions for all supported M3 languages are generated in the widget.
  • Save the generated item description.

Prerequisites

Before using this widget, consider this information:
  • You must ensure that the Item Details widget is added along with the Assisted Text Authoring widget from the widget catalog on your workspace. The data is retrieved by the Assisted Text Authoring widget based on your selected item from the Item Details widget.
  • This widget also works as a smart panel widget along with 'Item. Open' (MMS001) or other M3 programs.

Limitations

Responses generated by AI may not always be accurate or reliable. You must verify the information generated by AI and use it responsibly.

Note: When you click Generate all, the average token usage is multiplied by the number of supported languages in M3.
