Generating a delivery note document for testing

Generate a delivery note document in M3 to test the RPA process.
  1. In Infor OS, open the M3 application.
  2. Open the 'Customer Order. Open Toolbox' (OIS300) program.
  3. Select a customer order with a delivery.
  4. Select Related > Delivery Toolbox.
  5. In the 'Delivery. Open Toolbox' (MWS410) program, select a delivery.
  6. Select Related > Delivery documents.
  7. In the ‘Delivery. Connect Delivery Documents’ program, select document 900 (Delivery note) variant 00.
    Note:  If the option is not available, add it first.
  8. Select Related > Print documents.
    The Delivery Note document is emailed to you as a PDF file if 'Output Media Selection. Open' (MNS205) and 'Output Service Selection. Open' (MNS204) are configured for your user and printer file MMS480PF.

    You can also print it, sign it, write the name of the approving person in the Approved by field, and adjust the quantity for some lines by hand. Then you must scan the signed document and save it as a new PDF file to fully test the process. Multiple Delivery Notes can be scanned and saved as a single PDF file.

    The PDF documents must then be placed in the configuration folder so they can be retrieved and processed by this solution.
