Tips and troubleshooting

Before running the solution in RPA, ensure that the PDF files in the configuration folder are closed.

If the RPA process fails to start, verify the authorization by navigating to OS > RPA Management > Manage > Authorization. The Revoke option is displayed when the application or the user is already authorized. To reset the authorization, click Revoke, then click Authorize, and then Yes.

If the RPA process fails, check log files for error messages.

Custom Delivery Note layout (MMS480PF)

This layout is provided as part of the solution. This list shows the ways to verify if the correct layout is installed:

  • Search for a document with the type M3 Layout (M3_LAYOUT) and the printer file MMS480PF in IDM.

    If the document is found, check whether it contains these required fields:

    • Approved by - Name in CAPITAL letters field
    • Act qty bU column for the actual quantity

    If the fields are missing or the document is not found, it means the correct layout has not been installed, and assistance from an administrator is required.

  • A record must be created in ‘Service Selection. Open’ (MNS204) with these settings:

    • Print file: MMS480PF
    • User field: Leave blank or specif a specific M3 user for printing the Delivery Note
    • Service ID field: Set to a Service ID defined in ‘Open Service. Open’ (MNS216). The service must be configured with these settings:
      • Service type: M3_XML
      • Communication type: 3 - IDM Output Management, single interface
      • Priority: The priority for Document type M3_LAYOUT must be higher than that of Document type M3_LAYOUT_TEMPL. Both document types are expected to be defined by default in ‘Document. Open’ (MNS060).
  • A record must be created in ‘Output Media Selection. Open’ (MNS205) with these settings:

    • Print file: MMS480PF
    • User field: Leave blank or specif a specific M3 user for printing the Delivery Note
    • Media field: Select from these options:
      • *PRT: Send the report directly to a printer
      • *MAIL: Send the report through email, with the Delivery Note attached as a PDF for manual printing
