Currency handling
To ensure accurate financial processing, the currency specified on an invoice is managed in relation to the Purchase Order (PO).
This list shows the scenarios:
- Default currency from PO
If the currency is not specified in the incoming invoice, the currency on the corresponding PO is used by default to process the invoice without manual data entry.
- Currency mismatches
If the invoice uses a currency different from the PO, the system handles this without stopping the workflow.
- Automated processing
The invoice continues through automated processing.
- Notification
A notification is generated to alert the Accounts Payable team about the mismatch. This feature enables any necessary financial review or exchange rate adjustments outside the automated workflow, ensuring efficiency and financial control.
