M3 Assembly Operator Workspace

The Assembly Operator Workspace presents the operator’s activities on a single page so users can view and act on priority tasks. The interface organizes essential information in a clear layout to support daily work. The page provides actions to create and display manufacturing orders, check component availability, stage orders, issue components manually, report operations and receipts, print manufacturing order documents and picking lists, create schedules or open deliveries, and manually close manufacturing orders.

The M3 Assembly Operator Workspace uses configurable standard widgets, such as M3 Information Monitor, M3 Information Viewer, and M3 Information Search and List. This capability makes the workspace highly configurable and which you can use as a template.
Note: You must copy the workspace to your own version before you use it in production. Updates to the standard workspace can occur at any time.

This workspace is delivered in English only and is optimized for the four column layout in OS Portal.

Widget Description
My Day Provides a personalized greeting and a productivity summary for the M3 Assembly Operator role to orient key workspace functions.
Open MO:s - Overdue and Finish Date within Coming 7 Days My Facility Displays open manufacturing orders that are overdue or scheduled to finish within the next seven days for the user’s facility. The widget supports bookmarking and shows up to 15 records.
Where Am I Working Shows the user’s current working context or workstation in the M3 environment to support correct task alignment.
Mingle Custom Menu Provides a configurable quick-links menu to common manufacturing tasks, such as working with manufacturing orders, printing MO documents, checking component availability, and reviewing the work center schedule.
On Your Radar Provides an aggregated monitor dashboard that highlights planned, open, completed, and delayed manufacturing orders for the facility, with color and severity indicators and drilldown support.
On Your Radar - Drilldown Provides detailed drilldown configuration for the On Your Radar monitors, organizing monitor groups, such as Planned MOs, Open MOs, MOs Completed not Closed, and Delayed MOs, and displaying selected inputs, outputs, and severity indicators for actionable review.
Item Details Provides a generic item search and details view (MMS200MI SearchItem) that returns key item fields, such as item number, name, and description, with links to Item Overview for further investigation.
Unit Of Measure Conversion Provides unit‑of‑measure conversion utilities to support accurate quantity and manufacturing unit calculations within the operator workflow.
