Configuring variables for the Assisted Text Authoring widget

To define the variables used by the Assisted Text Authoring widget, you must add widget and business context variables.

You can add these variables on the Variables section in Settings > Configurable Widget Settings.

Note: The ability to add widget variables is reserved for future use.

Adding business context variables

  1. On the Variables section, click Business Context Variables.
  2. On the Variable section, click +.
  3. Specify the name of the new variable. For example, specify BCItemNumber.
  4. On the Source section, click +.
  5. Specify the entity type and ID mapping of the new source. For example, specify InforItemMaster.id1.
    Note: Contact your administrator to obtain a list of entity and ID mappings. Additionally, you can add multiple sources to a single variable.
  6. Click Save.
