Customer Account Creation

The Customer Account Creation solution is a workflow application that orchestrates the request, approval, and setup of customer accounts in M3. This solution supports the Establish Customer process in the Infor Process Catalog (IPC) and is designed to reduce delays and improve communication between departments.

Using ION Workflow, tasks and notifications are generated and distributed to users or groups. Users receive tasks in the Infor Inbox alongside email notifications. If users do not take action before the due date, email reminders are sent.

The process is initiated by a manual request and consists of two workflows. The first manages the request, while the second involves adding details about the preliminary customer by the customer service and account receivable departments, ultimately activating the customer. The requester is notified of approval and activation actions.
