Project Executive Summary

Use this widget to summarize a project recorded in (POS100) using Infor GenAI. An executive summary usually includes the overview of the project, status, performance, budget analysis, suggestions for known issues, and a conclusion. However, the content still requires verification to ensure the accuracy of AI-generated responses. For example, the sections for suggestion and conclusion are results based on the data gathered from the project activities.

The summary is also saved in M3 as a text block and as a document in Infor Document Management (IDM).

Another functionality of the widget includes copy text to clipboard, wherein you can copy the summary content and paste it on a separate notepad or Word file to check the content in another format.

Prerequisites

Before using this widget, consider this information:

  • When you use this widget on a workspace, you must also open another widget to send the required entity type and retrieve appropriate data. For example, you might use the M3 Search and List widget to get and display information on project data.
  • You must open or start a project before you use this in M3.

  • You must configure IDM to enable adding and saving of documents both in IDM and M3.

  • You must create a mapping of the document ID using XQuery to display only the applicable information in the widget and related information context application.

  • You must add InforProject as an entity type for the IDM Business Context Model. Ensure that UNION /Project_Executive_Summary[@Project_Number = "{id1}"] is included in the XQuery field with consideration that the Project number is set as id1 in the InforProject entity.
