Configuring the M3 Monitor Drilldown widget

Use this procedure to configure the monitors in the widget.
  1. From the widget toolbar, click the vertical ellipsis icon and click Configure.
  2. Click + Add Group.
  3. Specify this information:
    Group name
    Provide a name for the group of monitor information. For example, specify Manufacturing Orders.
    Entity type
    Specify the custom entity type for the group. For example, specify Mon_MO.
  4. Click + Add Monitor to configure the list of monitors.
  5. Specify this information:
    Monitor Name
    Provide a monitor name. For example, specify Open MOs.
    Translations
    Click this button to translate the monitor name into a different language.

    Severity Indication
    Enable this setting to display the severity indicators of grouped records.

    Bookmark configuration
    Click this option to configure a bookmark for the monitor.

    Program
    Click the look-up button. In the Program dialog, search for the program name or description, for example PMS100. Select the corresponding search result then click Apply.
    Transaction
    Click the look-up button. In the Transaction dialog, search for a transaction name or description, for example SearchMO. Select the corresponding search result then click Apply.
    Input
    Click the look-up button. In the Input/Output Parameters dialog, select Input to identify the input fields to be submitted to the API transaction. An input value can retrieve user context by adding field placeholders enclosed with <>.

    Example:

    SQRY value: FACI:<FACI> RESP:<USID> FSCD:0 AND NOT NUMA:0 AND NOT HDPR:[1 TO 10] SortBy:PRNO

    Output
    Click the look-up button. In the Input/Output Parameters dialog, configure this monitor information:
    • Select which output fields are be displayed in the monitor list.
    • Set a numeric value under the Order column to specify the arrangement of the output field for display.
    • Change the display labels of columns through the Modify Description functionality. You can also specify a translation for the new label. For the translated label to reflect, set the equivalent language in the user settings of Infor OS.
    • Select a maximum record count based on the available options. Default max record count is 100 if not set.
    • Click the Bookmark Configuration button to set a bookmark for a specific record. When this is configured, the first row of the monitor list is formatted as a hyperlink.
  6. In the Add Monitor dialog, click Save.
  7. Click the Edit icon to update the parameters of your configured monitor.
  8. To copy the configured monitor, click the Copy icon.
  9. To remove a monitor, click the Delete icon.
  10. In the Add Group Monitor dialog, Click Save after you add all required monitors. Optionally, you may sort or arrange the monitors using the drag and drop functionality.
