M3 Production Operator Workspace

The M3 Production Operator workspace provides a single page that summarizes the Production Operator's day. On this page, Production Operators can see and act on the work that matters. All IPC processes associated with the Production Operator role are accessible from this workspace through widgets, links, and monitoring tools.

This workspace is a daily operations dashboard for manufacturing and supply chain work. It helps production operators see what they are working on today, check in to a location or facility, and monitor open and overdue manufacturing orders.

Production operators can go to key areas such as inventory movements and product or master data. They can also go to production planning and performance, purchasing, distribution, and work centers or capacity. Additionally, they can search for and review products where the status is preliminary, active, or discontinued and tied to your facility and responsibility.

My Day Shows a personalized greeting and brief productivity summary to support the daily workflow of the user.
Open MO:s - Overdue Shows the open overdue manufacturing orders, which are filtered by facility and status and presents key fields such as product name, finish date, and quantities to aid prioritization.
Where Am I Working Shows the current work context of the user to aid in navigation and role-based task running.
Important Links Provides a structured navigation menu of links to key M3 applications, reports, and bookmarks to enable access to common production and supply chain functions.
On Your Radar Shows multiple operational monitors, including planned manufacturing orders, open manufacturing orders, and product lists to show priority items that require attention.
On Your Radar - Drilldown Enables detailed drilldown into monitor groups to show underlying records, selected fields, and contextual queries for investigation and action.
Move to Location Enables inventory movement to a specified warehouse location to maintain accurate stock placement and support transfers.
Items Provides a searchable item lookup with configurable output fields and a bookmark to the item overview to support primary item management.
