Customer Creation workflow
The customer creation workflow (M3_CustomerCreationWorkflow) is triggered by the approval workflow if the request is approved.
This list includes all the elements in the customer creation workflow:
- Both tasks involving accounts receivable and customer service are simultaneously
performed.
- A task to update financial information, such as, credit limit, bank details and
invoice address is designated to the group M3CustomerCreationAR. It contains a
drillback to 'Customer. Open" (CRS610/J) in M3 where to facilitate the updates of the
preliminary customer.
The user can complete the task by either clicking Done or Reject. An email reminder is sent if the task is not completed by the due date.
- A task to update other customer details, such as shipping address and local
exceptions, designated to the group M3CustomerCreationCustomerService. It contains a
drillback to 'Customer. Open' (CRS610/B) in M3 where to facilitate the updates of the
preliminary customer.
The user can complete the task by either clicking Done or Reject. An email reminder is sent if the task is not completed by the due date.
- A task to update financial information, such as, credit limit, bank details and
invoice address is designated to the group M3CustomerCreationAR. It contains a
drillback to 'Customer. Open" (CRS610/J) in M3 where to facilitate the updates of the
preliminary customer.
- A status check is performed to check if any task has rejected the creation. If all previous tasks are finished, continue to the next step; otherwise, proceed to step 4.
- Preliminary customer is updated with status '20-activated'.
A notification is sent to the requester with information that the customer has been activated in M3.
- Preliminary customer is updated with status '90-deactivated'.
A notification is sent to the requester with information that the request has been rejected.
