Customer Segmentation
The Customer Segmentation page contains several reports that analyze the customer profitability on a monthly basis.
You can use these options to filter your search results:
- Business Area
- Sales Representative
- Customer
- Report Month
These bar chart reports are available:
- Final Profitability
- Cost to Serve
- Profitability (Margin and Invoiced Amount)
- Margin
- Invoiced Amount
You can click each bar in the charts to show the Customer Details report.
This table shows the columns in the Customer Details report:
Column | Description |
---|---|
Sales Rep | The sales representative for the customer. |
Customer | The customer number. |
Customer Name | The name of customer. |
Final Profitability | The average of Cost to serve and Profitability:

Cost to Serve | The total invoiced amount divided by the number of transactions. K-Means algorithm is used to calculate these categories:

Profitability | The average of Invoiced Amount and Margin:
|
Invoiced Amount | The ranking and the total amount of money in the invoiced transactions. |
Margin | The total order amounts minus the total cost of goods. K-Means algorithm is used to calculate these categories:

No. of Transactions | The number of transactions per customer for the selected month. |
Margin % | The percentage of margin. |
