Prerequisites

These items are required before you can run the automation process:
  • Acquire these required security roles:

    • Infor-SuiteUser
    • RPA-USER
    • M3UI-User
    • IONAPI-User
  • Create the Outlook folder where bank statements are received.
    Note: The email account is determined based on Office 365 authorization.
  • Depending on the mode that you are using, additional prerequisites are required.

    You can run this solution in these modes:

    • Attended
    • Unattended

Attended mode

To run in attended mode, you must complete these requirements:
  • Download and use the latest version of RPA Assistant from the RPA Mastermind. To get installer access, go to OS > RPA Management > Home and click Download RPA Installer.

  • Your account must be authorized in the RPA Mastermind authorization section. To set up your authorization, access OS > RPA Management > Manage > Authorization. In the rows of IONAPI and Microsoft Office 365, click Authorize. If prompted, click Yes.
  • You must be added to the mastermind process users list. To set up your authorization, access OS > RPA Management > Manage > Processes and click Add.
    Note: RPA-Admin security role is required to do this action.
  • Download the RPA Assistant ION API file from the Authorized Apps panel in the API Gateway. To download the file, access OS > API Gateway > Authorized Apps. Search for RPA Tray Assistant and click the Download Credentials icon. The ION API file is saved in your Downloads file folder.

    Note: RPA-Admin security role is required to do this action. Additionally, RPA Tray Assistant corresponds to the RPA Assistant application.
  • Log in the RPA Assistant application.
    1. Click Add an Account and select the RPA Tray Assistant.ionapi file.
    2. Click the account to login.

    See Infor OS User and Administration Library (Cloud) and navigate to RPA > Installing RPA > Attended installation > Launching the RPA Assistant.

  • Verify or install the latest version of RPA Assistant.
    1. In M3BankStatementScanning, click the vertical ellipsis icon and select Install New Version.
    2. On the Versions tab, select the required version from the Available Versions.
    3. Click Update.
  • Configure the user parameters.
    1. In M3BankStatementScanning, click the vertical ellipsis icon and select Show Process Details.
    2. On the User Arguments tab, specify the user parameters.

    3. Click Save.
    4. To return, click Back.

Unattended mode

To run in unattended mode, you must complete these requirements:
  1. Navigate to OS > RPA Management > Home > Manage > Processes.
  2. In the Processes section, click the arrow of M3BankStatementScanning.
  3. Define the user arguments.

  4. Select RPA Management > Jobs.
  5. Search for the configured job and run.
