Mobile Inbox Application

Use this workspace widget to create baskets that contain a list of items. These baskets are then submitted to Infor Sales Hub for further processing within the Inbox tab. This widget is deployed through Infor Go or on a workspace.

You can also use this widget to do these tasks:

  • Search for orders that are in progress.
  • Search for orders that are created through the Infor Sales Hub widget but are not yet submitted or canceled.
  • View item stock locations within the same warehouse as the logged-in user.
  • View customer sales prices.

APIs used in the widget

This widget requires application program interfaces (APIs) that retrieve and display appropriate data.

Using the Mobile Inbox Application widget

  1. To initiate an order, click Add Order.
  2. In the Order Description field, specify any of this information:
    • Customer number
    • Customer name
    • Car plate number
    • Phone number
    • Reference from the customer master file
    Note: When you specify at least three characters, search suggestions showing customer number and name are displayed. The widget matches the keyword with the fields that are specified in the Customer Search – List View field in the widget's configuration settings.

    If a customer's profile is set up in 'User. Open'(MNS150), the default customer is preselected, and customer suggestions are not displayed.

  3. To search for an item, in the Search bar, specify an item keyword and click or tap Go. Alternatively, if the widget is on a device with a camera, use the camera to scan barcodes.
  4. To add the item to your basket, click or tap Add Item. If a customer name or number is specified in the Order Description field, you can also access customer prices and stock locations by clicking or tapping the relevant hyperlinks.
  5. In the basket view, you can do these tasks:
    • Modify the quantity of the item.
    • Delete items.
    • View customer prices and item stock locations.
  6. Click Submit to send the order to Infor Sales Hub.
