Adding an entity to version control

Before you can add an entity to Version Control, you must first create a new entity. See M3 Adaptation Kit User Guide.

Select the entity that you created in the MAK Navigator.
Right-click and select Team > Add to Version Control.

Note: If you selected Automatic integration, the entity is automatically added to Version Control as soon as MAK obtains a lock on that entity.
Switch to the Workspace Navigator.
Locate your entity under the environment project.
Verify that the icon on your entity has changed to an asterisk, *. This indicates that the entity has been added to Version Control and it is scheduled for addition to the repository on the next commit.
