Widgets
Widgets can be added to start pages. The Settings and Close buttons for each widget are displayed when you move the pointer over to the widget area.
This list shows the available widgets in H5:
- Application Messages: Displays your latest messages received in M3.The color of the envelope icon indicates the Action Date of a message:
- Red: message is overdue
- Orange: message is due today
- Blue: message is due in the future
An
button is available beside the button. - Custom Menu: Applies design to your own menu.
In the widget, you can drag and drop the items to change their position or to add them to a new group.

button beside the button to add a menu item. - Environment: Displays information about the current environment and user.
- Favorites: Provides access to your favorite items quickly.
You can drag and drop the items on the widget to change their position or add them to a new group.

button beside the button to add a Favorite item. - Frequent: Provides easy access to frequently used applications.

button beside to switch between the available views. - Image: Displays an image pulled from the Web.
- Mashup: Displays a mashup application deployed in the mashup server.
- Mashup Library: Lists all the available mashups you have access to.
- Menu: Locates and launch programs. You can specify the program name or ID
in the search field. Note: You can only search for elements that exist in the menu tree.
- Note: Serves as a medium to save notes and reminders without having to write them down on paper. To add notes, click the pencil icon and both the text box and formatting menu are displayed.
- Recent: Shows recently launched applications.
- Shortcuts: Displays your created shortcuts which provide quick links to M3
data. Add entries to the widget by going to the menu bar of a detail panel and selecting
Note: Bookmarking panels A, C, and D opens the base program.

. - Web: Displays a web page.
To change the settings of a widget, click the

Add item | Add a new item to the last group. If there is no group, a new
group is created.

URL | Specify the URL to be displayed. For mashup, select from the list of available options or specify a web mashup URL. |

For every item on a widget, you can select an action such as opening the item in a browser or deleting the item. To perform the task, right-click an item and select an option.
