The Flat File Repository Manager window is displayed. The user interface of the Flat File Repository Manager has three panes providing three different views. The icon displayed in each pane indicates the environment in which the user is currently working.

Here are the Flat File Repository Manager UI views:

The Definitions in repository View shows the flat file definitions uploaded to the repository. There are multiple repositories, each representing a different EC Server. The network icon indicates the status of your database connection. Green indicates an online connection and red indicates a lost connection.

The Definitions from repository being edited View shows the flat file definitions being edited. Every repository has its own work folder. You can edit a version of a flat file definition in the repository or you can download a flat file definition from the repository to a local folder. Then, import the edited version as a new flat file definition. When offline, the network icon is x-marked and you can only edit flat file definitions from the work folder.

The Local definitions View shows the folder locations where flat file definitions are stored. The folder path to the Flat File Repository Manager installation is displayed by default. Additional folders are displayed when you browse for flat file definitions through the local disk or when you download flat file definitions from a repository. The computer icon in this pane indicates the local machine.
