Flat File Repository Manager overview

The Flat File Repository Manager is a tool used to import flat file definitions into the EC database and make it available to the Partner Administration tool. To do this, you must import an existing flat file definition from a local disk to an available repository, that is EC server.

Flat File Repository Manager also functions as a single-point user interface (UI) used to create a new flat file definition on the local computer or to edit an existing flat file definition from the repository. Flat File Repository Manager helps manage the physical locations of XML files of flat file definitions. You must import existing flat file definition from a local disk to EC Server. Then, use Flat File Repository Manager to import flat file definitions into the EC database to make it available to the Partner Administration tool.
