Viewing record fields used

Before you start, you must complete a program search task. See Viewing panels of a program.

  1. On the Search Result tab at the bottom, select a Panel name.
  2. Click on the column View Record Fields Used across your selection to display all the record fields used.

    A new search result opens with this information:

    Column heading Description
    Field Name Name of the record field used by your selected panel.
    Type Field type.
    Length Field length.
    Decimals Field decimals.
    Reference file Reference table name of field.
    Reference field Reference field.
    Note: These results are generated from the value of Record Field for each program panel of the Program View Definition file.
  3. Use these options to manage the results:

    • To sort the results alphabetically or numerically, click the Sort icon located in one or more column headings.

    • To filter the results, type a dynamic free text filter for each column and select a Filter action.

  4. To view table relations, click a Reference file name.
