M3 Adaptation Kit Configuration Guidelines
M3 Adaptation Kit (MAK) Access Control is used to control access for different entities in MAK. It is a way to enforce the license agreement that is active for MAK and the Infor Application Suite source code.
A user can use the default access mode settings or enable Extended Access Mode. When default settings are used, a user is allowed access to all entities, except programs, database interfaces, and data structures. When Extended Access Mode is enabled, a user is allowed access to all entities. These default configuration of MAK Access Control and usage rights are specified in the following table:

This configuration is targeted towards Infor staff, accredited partners, and Infor customers. The default configuration when Extended Access Mode is enabled allows a user to access the following:

An administrator must configure MAK Access Control settings before a user can enable Extended Access Mode. For more information on how you can enable Extended Access Mode in MAK, see M3 Adaptation Kit User Guide and Configuring M3 Adaptation Kit Access Control. Note: MAK passwords
that will be used to enable Extended Access Mode are given only to
those who have the right to access entities.

At a customer site, the MAK administrator or installer who configures MAK should always contact the Infor Project Manager or Account manager for information about a specific customer’s MAK usage rights as they are carefully regulated.
