Backup Files
A backup copy of the file is created If a version of a file
already exists in the HFix folder. The name of the backup file is
<filename>.YYMMDD.V.<user ID>.bak
where YY is the year, MM is the month, DD is the day
and V is the version for the day.
The following table lists the types of backup files and the location where they are saved.

<MAK_HOME>\<environment>\backups\Fix\<component>\<fixfolder> <MAK_HOME> refers to the <M3 Root Path>\tools\mak folder where MAK stores its configuration files, action number, locks, backups, and Language Master XML files. For example: \\M3BE_ROOT\tools\mak\MAK\backups\Fix\CUS\HFix\src\mvx\app\pgm\customer\CRS001 .java.060929.0.LUNHAK1.bak or \\phmaw119\MAKENV\tools\mak\MAKTST\backups\Fix\CUS\HFix\src\mvx\app\pgm\customer\ CRS001.java.080728.1.LUNHAK1.bak |
