M3 Core Infrastructure and Technology for M3 13.4 has added support for these requirements:

• New platforms:

  • Windows Server 2016 / SQL Server 2017

  • Windows Server 2019 / SQL Server 2017

  • AIX 7.1 TL5 / Oracle 12c R2

  • IBM i 7.4

• Support for Amazon Corretto OpenJDK 8 on Windows. For more information, see KB2033057.

Most of the components have delivered the above support on CCSS, see KB1848749. Some of the components have new deliveries on Product Download:

• A new version 1.14 of SAML SP is delivered with support for HTTPS communication and performance improvements. From now on, this version is the only supported version for M3 13.4.

• A new version 10.1.4.4 of LifeCycle Manager is delivered with support for the above platforms but also with a change that ensures TLS 1.2 is always enabled for IBM Java when running on AIX and IBM i. For more information regarding TLS 1.2, see KB2082480.

  Note: After you have upgraded the LCM Server, it is important to uninstall your old LCM Client, download a new installation jar file, and install the new one. This is to ensure that you are running a Java version required for TLS 1.2 and SAML SP 1.14 support.

M3 Core Infrastructure and Technology Infocenter has been deprecated and the installer has been removed from Product Download.

Users are instead referred to the latest documentation available from docs.infor.com and also from the Infor Support Portal Documentation.

This update has taken effect in December 2020.
