Upgrading SAML Session Provider 1.11 to M3 Core release

This procedure is applicable for upgrading the Session Provider 1.11 Grid application to 1.14.x.

There is no direct upgrade path from SAML Session Provider 1.11.x to 1.14.x.

SAML Session Provider 1.11.x must first be uninstalled. Perform an install of SAML Session Provider 1.14.x when 1.11.x has been uninstalled.

  1. In the LCM Applications tab, right-click on the Session Provider application.
  2. Select Application Maintenance > Uninstall Application.
  3. On the Uninstall Application screen, click Next and select the check box to shutdown running nodes. Click Next.
  4. Click Finish.
  5. When SAML Session Provider 1.11.x has been uninstalled, follow the instructions in the M3 Core Installation Guide.
