Uninstalling a LifeCycle Manager Service on Windows

Note: Ensure that all products and middleware are uninstalled or unregistered from the LifeCycle Manager Service before you uninstall the Service.
  1. In the LifeCycle Manager Client Hosts tab, right-click the server where the LifeCycle Manager Service is installed.
  2. Select Host > Unregister Host.
  3. Click OK or View log.
  4. Open a command prompt window and navigate to the folder .
  5. Run the command uninstallLcmService.cmd.
  6. Open Computer Management > Services and Applications > Services to verify that the Windows service is removed. You should not find the service LCM-Service service_name in the list.
  7. Open the services file located in the %windir%\system32\drivers\etc folder and verify that ports reserved for LifeCycle Manager Service are removed from the file.
